PAID TIME OFF & LEAVE
Vacation Pay
All full-time and part-time employees normally scheduled to work 25 or more hours per week are eligible for vacation pay after 180 days of employment. Full time employees with fewer than five years of service are eligible for 10 days per year. Employees with 5 plus years of service are eligible for 15 days. Part-time employees are eligible for 25 hours of vacation time. Officers at the AVP level or higher are eligible for 5 additional days. Vacation time may be taken before it accrues, but must be paid back if the employee terminates.
Holiday Pay
Community Bank of FL generally recognizes all federal holidays. Full-time employees receive 8 hours pay. Part-time employees are not eligible to receive pay. The holiday schedule is published at the beginning of each year.
Sick Time
All full-time employees are eligible for sick pay after 90 days of employment. During the first year of employment the time will be pro-rated. Employees are eligible for up to 10 days. Two of the sick days may be used as personal time.
Leave of Absence
It is in the policy of CBF to grant employees leaves of absence under certain circumstances. The following types of leaves will be considered.
- Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA)
- Leave of Absence Employees are eligible if they have completed at least one year of service and 1,250 hours
- Personal Leave of Absence
- Military Leave of Absence
- Jury Duty Leave of Absence
- Bereavement Pay and Leave
